45 MLC Athletes Named Academic All-Conference
ST. PAUL - MLC had 45 individual student-athletes who received Academic All-UMAC honors for the winter and spring sports seasons, and also had four of its eight teams finish with the highest grade point average (GPA) in the conference in their respective sports.
MLC finished with the highest GPA in the conference in softball (3.369), women's tennis (3.682), men's tennis (3.360), and women's track (3.526).
The 45 individual recipients of the academic honor was the third most in the conference. To receive the honor, a student-athlete must finish with a GPA of 3.5 or better in the semester(s) in which the competition was held, and must finish the season as an active member of the team.
