Women's Tennis Loses 7-2 against UMM

NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost its match against Minnesota Morris on Friday by the score of 7-2.

Rebekah Johnston scored one of two points for MLC by winning her singles match


The Cougars took all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-0, 8-3 and 9-8 to take a 3-0 lead in the match.

The Knights were able to take two singles matches, as Elizabeth Broring and Rebekah Johnston won their matches in the number five and six spots in the order.

MLC fell to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the UMAC in defeat, while UMM improved to 2-4 on the season and 2-2 in league play with the win.

The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, April 12) when they host St. Scholastica in a match scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
