Women Lose Opening Match 9-0

ST. PETER, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team lost it's first match of the season Saturday, dropping all nine matches in a 9-0 loss to Minnesota St.
Michelle Hintz and the Knights lost their opener against MSU
All six singles matches finished in favor of MSU in straight sets, while the closest doubles match came in the #1 doubles, as Rachel Niemi and Karina Luthra lost their match 8-3.
The match was MSU's fourth of the season, as it improved to 4-0 on the season, while MLC dropped to 0-1.
MLC will return to action on Saturday, February 19, when it plays Macalester in a match scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
