Women Lose at St. Scholastica

DULUTH, Minn. - The women's tennis team lost its match at St. Scholastica Saturday by a final score of 9-0.

Karina Luthra and the Knights lost at St. Scholastica

The Knights dropped all six singles matches in straight sets, with Karina Luthra (Simpsonville, S.C./LPS) coming the closest with a 2-6, 3-6 loss at the number three singles spot.

In doubles action, the team of Rachel Niemi (La Crosse, Wis./Luther) and Luthra came the closest to picking up a win in a 4-8 loss.

With the loss, MLC dropped to 2-6 overall and 2-3 in the UMAC. The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, April 20, when they host Buena Vista for a 3 p.m. match.
