Women Finish Strong at Bethany

MANKATO, Minn. - The MLC women's tennis team finished its regular season strong with a 7-2 win at Bethany Monday.
Karina Luthra and the Knights beat Bethany 7-2
The Knights took all three doubles matches from the Vikings in the match, and then won four of six singles matches to get the final margin.
In singles, Rachel Niemi (La Crosse, Wis./Luther) won in three sets, while Carol Niemi (La Crosse, Wis./Luther), Karina Luthra (Simpsonville, S.C./LPS) and Allison Snyder (Jefferson, Wis./LPS) each won their singles matches in straight sets.
With the win, MLC finished the regular season with a record of 7-7 overall and 6-4 in the UMAC. The win was the Knights' fourth straight, and fifth in the last six matches.
