Niemi Named All-UMAC

ST. PAUL - MLC women's tennis player Rachel Niemi was named All-UMAC Thursday for the third time in her career. Niemi was also the MLC recipient of the Sportsmanship Award.
Rachel Niemi was named All-UMAC for the third time
Niemi finished her four-year career as the Knights' number one singles player with a 4-10 singles record in 2012, including a 4-6 record in conference play. In doubles, she finished with a record of 3-11 overall and 3-7 against UMAC competition.
Niemi also was named All-UMAC in 2009 and 2010.
Niemi and the Knights finished the season fourth in the UMAC with a conference record of 4-6, and an overall record of 4-10.
