Waldek was named UMAC Player of the Week after going 10-17 (.588) with ten runs scored, five runs batted in, three stolen bases and six extra base hits (four doubles and two triples). She also walked three times and was hit by a pitch, pushing her on-base percentage to a stellar .667 to go with a slugging percentage of 1.059 for the week.

Marquardt won both of her starts on the mound on the way to Pitcher of the Week honors. She threw 12 innings in her two starts, allowing only two runs (both earned) for an ERA of 1.50 for the week. In Friday's 5-0 win over Crown, Marquardt threw a one-hit gem, allowing only two base-runners in the game and holding the Storm hitless through 5.2 innings.

Waldek, Marquardt and the rest of the Knights are scheduled to return to action this weekend, when they play a pair of double headers in Loras, Iowa.
