ST. PAUL, Minn. - Sarah Free was named UMAC Player of the Week for her performance on the MLC softball team last week.
Sarah Free was named UMAC Player of the Week
Free hit .565 in six games for the Knights, belting two home runs and seven extra base hits in 23 at bats, while also driving in 13 runs and scoring ten runs in helping MLC to open the season at 3-3.
Free and the rest of the Knights will return to action on Saturday, March 26, when they travel to Moline, Ill., for a tournament hosted by Augustanna. The first game on Saturday will begin at 9 a.m. against Dubuque.
