Five Softball Players Named Scholar Athletes

NEW ULM, Minn. - Amanda Fogle, Katie Scherer, Laura Miller, Karla Opperman and Stephanie Punke were all named scholar athletes by the Natiaonl Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
Amdana Fogle was one of five MLC softball players recognized as scholar athletes by the NFCA
The players were eligible for the award because they maintained a GPA better than 3.5 for the entire 2010-11 school year.
MLC was also named as one of the all-academic teams in Division III, with a team GPA of 3.323.
