Women's Soccer Dominates Warriors
NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC women's soccer team jumped out to a big lead and held on for a 4-2 win over a banged up WLC team Sunday.
The Warriors, who were only able to dress nine players for the game, were outshot 39-9 in the game by the Knights.
Lindsay Hahn got the Knights on the board in the first half with her first goal of the season, and Bethany Schultz and Hannah Mattek also tacked on goals in the first half.
WLC was able to score several times in the second half, but a goal from Hannah Janke gave the Knights the insurance they needed for the win.
With the win, MLC improved to 2-1 on the season, while WLC dropped to 0-4.
The Knights will return to action on Friday, September 16, when they travel to St. Scholastica for a 4 p.m. game.
