ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The MLC women's soccer team completed a season sweep of Crown with a 1-0 win Saturday afternoon.

Bethany Schultz scored the lone goal of the game in the 14th minute of play, giving her six goals on the season.

MLC dominated play for much of the game, outshooting the Storm 29-6 overall and 12-3 on goal. Allison Snyder stopped all three shots she faced to pick up the shutout, while Schultz led the team with nine shots (five on goal).

With the win, MLC improved to 7-5-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the UMAC, while Crown dropped to 0-13-1 on the season and 0-8-1 in league play.

MLC will return to action on Tuesday, October 18, when it travels to Bethany for a game scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
