ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MLC women's soccer team allowed a goal in the 87th minute of play in a 1-0 loss at Northwestern Saturday afternoon.

Allison Snyder stopped 16 shots in a 1-0 loss at NWC

The late goal spoiled a terrific performance from MLC goalkeeper Allison Snyder, who saved 16 of the 17 shots she faced on the day.

MLC was outshot 21-4 overall, and 17-2 on net for the game. Bethany Schultz and Linda Kenyon each had two total shots, and one on net.

With the loss, MLC dropped to 6-5-1 overall, and 3-2-1 in the UMAC, while Northwestern improved to 4-6 on the season and 4-2 in conference play.

MLC will return to action on Friday, October 12, when it travels to Bethany for a 7 p.m. game.
