ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's cross country team finished second out of four teams at the Crown College Invitational Saturday morning.

Emilee Koltz finished fifth at Crown Saturday

The Knights had two runners finish inside the top six, as Emilee Koltz (25:59.4) and Amara Biebert (26:20.3) finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

Hannah and Sarah Hackbarth finished 24th and 27th, while Sarah Schultz rounded out the top five for MLC with a 32nd place finish.

Macalester won the event with a team score of 23, with MLC coming in second with a team score of 54.

MLC will return to the trails on Saturday, September 14, when it hosts the MLC Invitational at Flandrau State Park.
