Women Finish Third at BLC Inv.

MANKATO, Minn. - The MLC women's cross country team finished third at the Bethany Lutheran College Invitational on Wednesday, September 1.

Robin Nommensen was the highest placing finisher for MLC at the BLC Inv.

Robin Nommensen led the Knights with an eighth place finish and a time of 27:56.1, while Amanda Walther was second on the team and came away with an 11th place finish.

Gustavus won the meet with a score of 15, and took each of the top 7 official spots individually. Northland came in second with a score of 70, while MLC came in with a score of 73 in third place, 12 points better than Bethany in fouth.

The cross country runners will return to action on Saturday, September 11, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's.
