Women Finish Seveth at St. John's Invitational
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The MLC women's cross country team took seventh place at the St. John's, Collegeville Invitational.
Elizabeth Murry and MLC finished seventh at the SJU Invitational
Robin Nommensen led all finishers for MLC, taking 32nd place with a time of 27:06. Amanda Walther also finished in the top 40, taking 37th place with a time of 27:16.
Carina Rahn, Heather Williams, Jenny Reif and Stephanie Povinelli all finished inside the top 100, while Elizabeth Murry finished just outside the top 100 with a 103rd place finish.
College of St. Benedict finished first at the meet. St. Cloud State and Minnesota State Moorhead, rounded out the top three.
MLC will return to competition on Saturday, September 18, when they host the MLC Invitational for Homecoming. The meet will begin at 11 a.m.
