MLC Women Take Sixth at UMAC

ASHLAND, Wis. - The MLC women's cross country team took sixth place at the UMAC Championships held at Northland Saturday.

Robin Nommensen took 42nd at the UMAC Championships

MLC was led by Amanda Walther, who took 18th individually with a time of 26:18 in the 6k event. Stephanie Povinelli joined her in the top 25 with a 24th place finish.

Also scoring points at the event for the Knights were Carina Rahn (37th), Robin Nommensen (42nd), Megan Watson (61st), Jenny Reiff (71st), and Elizabeth Murry (77th).

St. Scholastica won the event with a final score of 27, with Minnesota, Morris and North Central rounding out the top three.

MLC will run next at St. John's on Friday, November 5.
