Koltz, Nommensen Finish in the Top Two at MLC Invitational
NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC women's cross country team had the top two individual finishers at the MLC Invitational held at Flandrau Park Saturday morning.
Emilee Koltz fnished first with a time of 24:31.0 to win the meet, while teammate Robin Nommensen took second with a time of 24:56.9.
Hannah Hackbarth (tenth), Becca Rehberger (11th), Brooke King (13th), and Amanda Walther (15th) each finished inside the top 15 for the Knights.
In the team competition, the Knights were barely edged by North Central for first place. The Rams finished the meet with 36 total places. MLC finished one point behind them with 37 total places.
MLC will take next week off, and will next appear at the UMAC Championships meet on October 27. The Knights will be hosting the meet this season, which will also be held at Flandrau Park.
