Steinmetz, Wildauer and Brassow Receive Conference Honors

ST. PAUL - Jacob Steinmetz, John Wildauer and Todd Brassow each received All-UMAC honors Thursday, with Steinmetz also named Field Athlete of the Meet for his performance at last week's UMAC Outdoor Championships

Jacob Steinmetz was named All-UMAC and Field Athlete of the Meet award for his performance at the UMAC Outdoor Championships

Steinmetz finished in the top three for the 200 Meter Dash and Long Jump, and took first place in the Long Jump at the UMAC Outdoor Championships, scoring 26 points at the meet on his own for the Knights. His first place in the Triple Jump came on a jump of 23.02 meters.

Wildauer received All-UMAC honors for the second time in the last two years after winning the 400 Meter Hurdles with a time of 51.94. He won the honor last year for winning the Javelin Throw event.

Brassow set a new UMAC Outdoor Championships Record in the High Jump, winning that competition with a jump of 1.94 meters. He is currently the school record holder in the event with a top jump of 1.98 in competition this Spring.

Jarrod Pfarr as the MLC recipient of the Sportsmanship Award, given to one athlete from each school who best exhibits sportsmanship.
