Javelin Throwers Lead Men at Macalester

ST. PAUL - The MLC men's track team had two athletes finish in the top ten in the Javelin event at the Macalester Twilight event Thursday night.
Micah Foelske finished sixth in the Javelin at Macalester
Philip Loescher was the top finisher at the meet for MLC, taking second in the Javelin with a top throw of 48.97 meters. Micah Foelske finished sixth in the Javelin with a throw of 43.32 meters.
Loescher and Foelske accounted for all 11 points the Knights had at the meet, with Loescher gaining eight points for his second place finish.
In the long jump, Jarrod Pfarr finished 11th with a top jump of 5.82 meters.
The Knights finished 13th in the team competition with those 11 points.
MLC will return to the track on Saturday, April 28, at Gustavus.
