Field Event Athletes Lead MLC Men at Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The MLC men's track team was able to get some much needed work in at the Carleton Relays held at Carleton College Saturday.

Todd Brassow was one of several MLC athletes to take home a top five finish at Carleton

The field athletes led the way for the men's squad, with Phil Loescher taking home the highest finish with fourth place in the Javelin Throw.

Joining Loescher with top ten spots in field events were Todd Brassow (fifth in High Jump), Jacob Steinmetz (fifth in Long Jump and seventh in Triple Jump), and Paul Habermann (eighth in Shot Put).

In the running events, John Wildauer (400 Meters) and Noah Willitz (300) Meter Steeplechase) both had tenth place finishes, while the 4x400 Relay team took home fourth place with a time of 3:33.26.

MLC will return to action on Thursday, April 25, when it travels to Macalester for a meet scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
