MLC Men Lose Non-Conference Match
NEW ULM, Minn. - The MLC men's tennis team lost a rain-shortened match against Kansas Wesleyan by the score of 6-0 Tuesday afternoon in the final tune up before the start of the conference season.
Kansas Wesleyan won all three doubles matches, beating the Knights by the scores of 8-3, 8-1 and 8-3.
Only three of the six singles matches were completed, with all three going to Kansas-Wesleyan. The Knights' Russell Scoggins led in his match, but was unable to finish because of the weather.
MLC dropped to 0-4 on the season with the loss, and will return to action on the courts on Saturday, March 31, when it hosts St. Scholastica. The men are scheduled to being at 12 p.m., while the women will get started afterwards.
