Ben Nommensen and the Knights lost 9-0 to NWC

The Knights lost all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-5, 8-2 and 8-1.

In singles, two players took their matches to a third set, but none of them were able to come up with a win to give the Knights a point. With the loss, MLC finishes the regular season at 6-8 overall and 6-4 in league play, good for third place in the UMAC and a spot in the conference tournament this weekend. Northwestern improved to 12-9 on the season and 8-2 in conference with the win.

MLC will return to action on Friday, May 4, when they play in the UMAC Tennis Championships held at Baseline Tennis Center.
