WINONA, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost its season opener at Saint Mary's Saturday night at the Winona Tennis Center by the score of 9-0.

Jordan Bence and the Knights lost their season opener at SMU


In singles, the Knights were unable to take a set, with Justin Marshall and Tom Gorzalski each taking three points in their numbers three and five singles matches.

SMU also swept the three doubles matches 8-0.

This was the lone match of the winter for the Knights, as they will return to action on April 2 against Hamline.
