Henrich, Koester Named All-UMAC in Men's Tennis
ST. PAUL - MLC men's tennis players Scott Henrich and Paul Koester received All-UMAC honors in an announcement from the conference Tuesday.
The two seniors played their entire careers at the top of the MLC line-up, and also finished their four-year careers with a doubles record of 25-23 together in the top spot.
Henrich became a four-time All-UMAC performer with the announcement. He finished this season with a record of 6-5 in the number one spot, and finished 7-4 in doubles in the top spot there. Henrich finished his career with a singles record of 28-23.
Koester was also named All-UMAC last season, and has been the Knights' main performer in the number two singles position during his career. He had a singles record of 5-7 this season, and finished his career with a record of 23-31 in singles.
Men's player Micah Koelpin and women's player Jackie Keller were the MLC recipients of the Sportsmanship Award, given to a player on each team for their sportsmanship during the season.
MLC's women's tennis team won the Team Sportsmanship Award for their show of sportsmanship throughout the season.
