Three Named All-UMAC in Men's Soccer

ST. PAUL - The MLC men's soccer team had three players receive all-UMAC recognition Wednesday, with Nathan Gurgel named Second Team All-UMAC, while Kaleb Buch and Ben Nommensen each received honorable mention.

Nathan Gugel was named Second Team All-UMAC

Gurgel started all 18 games for MLC at forward, tying Buch for the team lead with seven goals on the season, and tying Nommensen for the team lead in goals during conference play with five.

Buch led the Knights in points with 16 and had seven goals on the season. His 16 points tied him for 10th in the conference, while he also finished top five in shots (57) and shots per game (3.35).

Nommensen finished the season with six goals, the third most on the team, with five of those coming in conference play. He finished the season with a team-best .194 shooting percentage.

Senior Steve White was the MLC recipient of the Sportsmanship award.
