MLC Men Fall at Presentation
ABERDEEN, S.D. - The MLC men's soccer team was unable to generate a goal in a 1-0 loss at Presentation Friday.
Ben Zietlow and the Knights lost 1-0 at Presentation Friday
MLC outshot the Saints 16-14 overall, and 9-3 on goal, but an early goal in the 13th minute by the Saints proved the be the difference in the game.
Ben Zietlow saved two of the three shots on net in goal for MLC, while Nathan Gurgel and Steve White had five combined shots on goal for the offense in the loss.
MLC dropped to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in conference with the loss, while Presentation improved to 3-6 overall and 2-3 in the UMAC with the win.
The Knights will return to action tomorrow (October 2) when they travel to UM-Morris to take on the Cougars. The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
