Men Snap Skid at Northland
ASHLAND, Wis. - The MLC men's soccer team snapped a five-game winless streak with a 2-0 win at Northland Friday afternoon.
John Paustian got the Knights on the board early in the first half to put the Knights up 1-0. The goal was Paustian's second on the season.
Kaleb Buch tacked on the insurance goal for the Knights late in the contest, scoring his fifth goal on the season with 15 minutes to play.
MLC outshot the Lumberjacks 17-1 on net for the match.
With the win, MLC improved to 5-8-2 on the season and 2-6-2 in the UMAC, while Northland dropped to 1-14 overall and 0-11 in conference play.
MLC will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, October 23), when they play at St. Scholastica.
