Ryan Lemke and the Knights lost 2-1 against Illinois College

Illinois College took an early 2-0 lead, scoring twice in the first 38 minutes to take a two-goal edge heading into the break.

The Knights pulled to within one in the 61st minute when Tyler Prekop scored off a Nathan Graumann corner kick for his first goal of the season. They were unable to get the tying goal the rest of the way, however, and finished with the 2-1 defeat.

Eric Hahn stopped six of the eight shots he faced in goal for MLC to keep the Knights in the game, while Ryan Lemke led the team with three shots.

MLC dropped to 0-2 on the season with the loss, and will return to action on Saturday, September 7, when it hosts Presentation.
