NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's soccer team scored three times in the final ten minutes in a 4-2 win over Presentation in Saturday's home opener.

Nathan Graumann broke a scoreless tie in the 65th minute to give MLC a 1-0 lead, but the Saints tied the game at 1-1 in the 78th minute.

MLC responded with an offensive flurry, as Aaron Markgraf and Isaiah Horn scored goals less than one minute apart at 80:49 and 81:43 to give the Knights a two-goal cushion.

The Saints scored in the 84th minute to cut the MLC lead in half, but Tyler Prekop put the game away in the 87th minute with his second goal of the season.

The goals for Graumann, Markgraf and Horn were the first for each this season. Ryan Lemke, Prekop, Stephen Roekle and Graumann each had one assist in the game.

MLC improved to 1-2 on the season with the win, while PC dropped to 0-3 with the loss.

The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, September 11, when they host Gustavus in a match scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
