DULUTH, Minn. - The MLC men's soccer team fell behind early and was unable to make up ground in a 4-0 loss at St. Scholastica Saturday.

The Saints took control early, scoring twice in the first 15 minutes and took a 2-0 lead into halftime.

CSS struck quickly again in the second half, scoring the final two goals in the early moments on the way to the 4-0 win.

The Saints outshot MLC 19-1 overall, and 10-1 on goal. Kaleb Buch had the lone shot for the Knighs.

With the loss, MLC dropped to 5-9-2 overall and 2-7-2 in the UMAC, while CSS improved to 14-3-1 on the season and 11-0-1 in conference action.

MLC will return to action on Tuesday, October 27, when it hosts Bethany. Game time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
