Golf Fights Wind on Day Two
ALEXANDRIA, Minn. - The MLC golf team fought windy conditions to shoot a second round 340, matching their total from day one to stay in fifth place in the team competition.
Sam Panning was unable to match his good score from yesterday, shooting 90 in round two to fall out of the top ten in the individual competition, while Craig Wilke shot a team-best 80 to move into seventh place.
Caleb Schultz improved eight strokes from round one with an 82 in round two, while Jacob Biebert shot 88 on the day.
Through two days, MLC has a total score of 680 and sits in fifth place, but remains within eight strokes of second place. North Central leads the tournament with a score of 641.
