Men Finish Sixth at Saint John's
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The MLC men's cross country team finished sixth at the Saint John's Invitational Friday night.
Freshman Nathan Plocher finished first amongst MLC runners in 30th place with a time of 31:41, three seconds faster than teammate Nathan Schulte, who finished in 31st place with a time of 31:44.
Also placing for the Knights were Steve Pelischek, Ben Weber, Paul Elmquist, John Wildauer and Tristan Paustian.
The Knights finished with 191 total points in the event. Saint John's won the event with a total of 18 points, with seven Johnnie runners finishing in the top 10.
MLC will return to the trails on Saturday, September 17, when they travel to St. Olaf for a meet scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
