ABERDEEN, S.D. - The MLC baseball team lost 13-1 in its season finale at Presentation Saturday.

Joe Blum wasn't able to slow down Presentation


The Knights were outhit 17-4 for the game, with Greg Holzhueter picking up two of the four hits. Holzhueter reached base four times in the game, taking two walks to go along with his hits.

Galen Holzhueter drove home the lone MLC run in the fourth inning with his first career home run, but it wasn't enough.

The Saints scored four times in the second, third and fourth innings, chasing MLC starter Joe Blum after three innings. Blum allowed eight runs (four earned) on nine hits as he dropped to 1-5 on the season with the loss.

MLC finished the season 7-23 overall and 7-14 in the UMAC after the loss, while Presentation improved to 16-16 on the season and 12-8 in league play.
