Inter-Library Loan Request Form

last modified 2010-09-21 09:28 AM

Inter-Library Loan Service is available to Martin Luther College faculty, students, and staff. Before fillling out this request form make sure you have searched for your material in the Library catalog and the MnLINK Gateway catalog. These resources allow you to put holds on the items without the use of Inter-Library Loan. Use this form to request materials that are not available through the library catalog or through MnLINK. Fill in as much information as you know. Patrons from the community are asked to use their local public library.

NOTICE: WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
